Netsuite Dashboard Tips to Know

Using the Netsuite Dashboard allows you to save time when completing your tasks.

NetSuite is the world’s most deployed cloud Enterprise Resource Planning solution and the netsuite dashboard offers all your essential information technology needs. The software can be used for Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer Relationship Management, Human Resources, customer service, e-commerce, warehouse and inventory management, and project management.

The Key Performance Indicators

There are shortcuts that allow you to add or edit a customer and an item. The KPI portlet provides an outlook of a company’s Key Performance Indicators. The good thing is that if you have any enquiries about the software, the Help, Center and Support can provide you with answers. Other users can also be able to help you.

Save Time Using Shortcuts

By using the Netsuite Dashboard, you can save some time when you are performing your tasks. You can access your recent records, create a customer or start an event. There is a list of shortcuts that you can use to find records easily and quickly. Major record types have their corresponding shortcuts, including customers, events, opportunities and transactions.

Top-left Icons

Recently updated information can be accessed using the top left icons in your accompanying figure. You can also create or reach a shortcut that you have already created. Below that, there are icons that allow you to create an event. You can also create a telephone call, task or new customer. The icons also allow you to create a contact, opportunity or sales order. A new cash sale or invoice can be created and you can enter bills.

Adding Key Performance Indicators

The netsuite dashboard also allows you to add the Key Performance Indicators portlet to NetSuite. The portlet will show the key metrics on your home dashboard. It’s also possible to add many types of portlets. The Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are quantifiable and measurable metrics, which can tell a company how well it is achieving its goals. If the KPI portlet is not there, you can add it to your home dashboard.

The following are the steps for adding the Key Performance Indicators.

1. Click on the “Customize This Page” link on your upper-right

2. Click on the “Key Performance Indicators” link in your “Add Content” pane

3. Click the “X” in your upper-right corner

Help and Support

Getting  Help and Support on the Netsuite Dashboard is easy. The support is provided in many ways, including field level, the help center itself and through other users. If you would like information about a field, click on its name and a pop-up will appear. If you want to reach the help center, click “Help” in your upper-right corner and some helpful information will be displayed after you have entered your search terms.

NetSuite Community

In the Netsuite Dashboard, you can also display the PDF guides that you can print or watch the introductory videos. To contact the NetSuite Support, you can click on the “Support” tab menu that’s on your screen. Other users can also be able to help you and you can visit the NetSuite Community to find answers to your problems.

It’s important to make the Netsuite Dashboard work for you in order to increase your results.
